Tonight was my first time ever making pizza. I made both the dough and sauce from scratch. It turned out soooo good. Here's a picture of the second pizza. The first one was eaten before any pictures could be taken.
We've been using Winco dough and Prego sauce, so it's better/cheaper than store-bought, but I'm not super fond of the dough, it doesn't have enough bubbles in it when it's cooked. Will you post your recipes? Please?
Misty - It wasn't that expensive considering I had most exerything on hand. It was just flour and a few other ingredients for the dough. For the sauce I used tomato sauce, added spices and simmered it down (you could use tomato paste but I didn't have any). The only things we purchased were the toppings and they were less than $10 for the two pizzas with toppings left over.
Megan - I will try to post the recipe soon. The sauce recipe won't be exact since I didn't measure but I'll tell you approximate amounts.

That looks delic!! I've always wanted to make my own. How expensive is it to buy all the ingredients??? that was my setback.
